By plastic yarn, I mean synthetic fiber yarn such as acrylic, nylon and polyester which happen to dominate the yarn world even now! It’s hard to believe that most of their sales are still synthetic fibers even though the world is more eco conscience and even has jobs, technology, organizations and new indust

ECO JOURNEY VIEWS

Eco-Friendly has many definitions and levels and areas of commitment. I’m not an extremist nor do I whitewash my projects for profit. If the desire is there, you will know how to keep going on the eco-journey because it is always changing and it will be different for every person.

For me knitting is about comfort, tradition and necessity. Actually it is more than that. It has to do with culture, nostalgia and creativity. It has to do with our place and purpose in this world. It can be something your mind and hands want to do like a habit or an obsession. Or something you want to try as a new skill or hobby or even as a profession. Be open to the possibilities.

This blog is about learning, inspiration, ideas, design and recommendations. It’s also about being eco-friendly with all your knitting choices. Reduce, Recycle, Reuse is just the beginning. There are other ways to be eco-friendly and we’ll explore as many ways as we can. Sign up with your email address at the bottom of the blog main page to get blog posts to your inbox. Let’s share the adventure!
