Social Media can be a drag. I’m confronted daily with eco-activists who like to blame others, even countries for their wannabe utopia ideas. Some are good ideas and some are not but as I said in the last blog, I don’t think they realize they are going about it in a depressing, blame-filled way. Maybe they are putting all their thought and energy into being ‘Net Zero’ that they are willing to force it down our throats. They go about it by thinking they are more intelligent and wiser than us ‘neanderthal pollution causers’ and blaming, legistlating oppression and taxing people to get things done. This is not right when you limit freedom and take away homes, farms, land and professions for ‘the greater good’. This is the ultimate tyrannical method of implementing a fake utopia.
What is the solution, then? I don’t know. I don’t claim to know everything. I just know when I feel opressed. This feels like tyranny and oppression when farmers are getting their farms taken away and solar panels are being put on their family land and bees, cattle and chickens ate being killed and people are saying we need to stop eating meat and Chinese people are buying up agriculturalland. There is obviously something more sinister going on. I don’t think we’re going to be able to control everything or fix everything. The goal is to make changes yourself and give better choices to people. We need postivity and a smiling faces and kind words. We need encouragement and hope. We are the influencers not the enforcers.
If you want to be vegan, that’s up to you. Eating meat is something we’ve been doing for thousands of years and has many nutirients. I am holistic and food is about health and it is also can be medicine. Our bodies need protein. Our bodies were designed for healthy foods and that includes meat. If you don’t eat meat, that is your decision and I respect that, but you can’t decide for humanity for the tyrannical excuse, ‘It’s for the greater good’. That is the precursor for death and destruction in some eras, especially by politicians who like the power of playing God.
Things constantly change as we strive to be better but we have to have a balance and learn from the past and implement the things that work and cease the things that don’t work. Plastics and highly industrial industries that have a lot of chemicals and synthetic materials need to eventually end. This is mad science and not all scientists and doctors are doing good for others. Money and power are driving themselves and others to destruction. This is greed is causing harmful disruption in different biospheres. The best way is a natural, preservational way but this also has to include humanity. We can’t be eliminated by the ideas of godless nutcases like Bill Gates and population control.
This conversation easily be long and go in a tangent, but for this blog post, I am going to focus on positivity because we need it, I need it, the people need it and nature needs it. What can you do to make a difference in the yarn crafting community? Stop using plastic yarns if you like to knit, crochet or weave. Encourage others also by telling them information about plastic yarn and the benefits of natural yarns. Talk about the positivity of people providing the yarns and the opportunities and income to our local economies. It helps us by becoming less dependent on foreign countries because we have the ability to do things here and it’s actually more sustainable and helps families and animals when we learn to do things naturally that break down and go back to the land. We are helping beneficial insects and the health of the soils and air when we are using less pesticides and insecticides. We help people thrive and pass down to the next generation our wisdom and expertise, skill and trades to the next generation do they will be more self-sufficient and not have to depend on dangerous, chemically laden, big industrialized factories for work and food.
This is also about heritage and culture preservation and also making new discoveries that future generations can learn from us. Yes, even Americans can preserve heritage and culture. We are only 350 years old but we have had enough time to make our own history and do things our unique own way.
Not only do we need to stop using plastic yarn we need to produce, make and encourage using natural fibers. Please my friends, for the sake of others because we love people even though they seem impossible and horrible sometimes, do things with love and postivity. Do what you would want to be done to you. Think about your own eco-journey and your own small circles of friends and families that will radiate outward with positive, encouraging and beneficial influence. You can’t control the world but you are the single positive light we need to start to radiate to the world with natural, better and healing ideas. This is how us creative and artistic humans can help in a small way without putting us in a grey and depressing future. We have to encourage solutions in a positive, hopeful manner no matter what is happening in politics. 👏 Let’s get going!
